About Simon

Hi, I’m Simon.

I’m a husband of one, dad of three and primary school teacher living in Auckland, New Zealand. I started performing in church productions while in primary school. Then I was part of a circus group while in high school (my kids think it is hilarious that I was once a clown). Now I love sharing original comedy songs and parodies along with observational humour. I draw on my experiences as a parent and teacher for a lot of my material which has mostly been field tested around the dinner table or in the classroom.

Some of my influences have been Fred Dagg, Flight of the Concords, Bill Bailey and Michael Jr.

Sharing stories and making each other laugh – it’s a very human thing to do. Whether it is round a campfire or with mates over a BBQ, it feels best in person. I grew up in a family that loves to tell stories and make music. Now, I get to continue that tradition with my clean comedy performances.

Enjoy laughing together.
